Farmers are registering for the Thanks for Farming Tour in 2021.
Cover Crops, Farm Transition, Cultivating Resilience, and a little humour from YouTube favourite Quick Dick McDick, an Agricultural Technician from Tuffnell, Saskatchewan are among the topics covered during the event.
Exhibitors will display new equipment and technology, while speakers will discuss issues such as succession planning, cover crops, and mental health in the agriculture industry.
The organizer of the "Thanks for Farming Tour", Jeremy Matuszewski, believes those who kept people nourished and fed deserve a huge thank you and the Thanks for Farming Tour accomplishes this.
The Thanks for Farming Tour is returning in 2021 with three additional locations after a hugely successful first year. Matuszewski began the tour last year, 2021 stops will be in Lethbridge on July 7 and 8, Swift Current on July 13 and 14, and Brandon on July 28 and 29 in 2021.
The event has a $20 entry charge, which supports local charities. Producers must pre-register at https://thanksforfarmingtour.com/
