Virtual Camp Experience has been redesigned to become Camp AgScape, an interactive discovery of food and farming online for Ontario youth. To assist parents and instructors in keeping their children and students interested and learning either at home or in class, AgScape is pleased to announce the introduction of the brand new Camp AgScape.
Camp children can enjoy their online experience as a Honeycrisp (ages 5-8), Alpaca (ages 9-12), Evergreen (ages 13-15) or Clydesdale (ages 16 -18+) with a daily schedule of activities that will connect them to numerous agriculture and food themes including Caring for our Animals, Grown a Green Thumb, From Earth to Fork, and Become a Scientist. These weekly themes provide kids the opportunity to learn about agriculture and food literacy.
The interactive activities last for four weeks, although the kids can complete them at their own pace. They will get a diploma after finishing the curriculum, highlighting how much they have learned about Canadian food and farming.
To get started, head to the brand-new Camp AgScape website to register and start your food and farming adventure: https://www.campagscape.ca/.
