Repetitive motion injuries (RMI) are among the most common of injuries.
Repetitive motion injuries also make up more than 50 per cent of all athletic injuries. All in all, RMIs result in huge costs to the workforce and to lifestyle. Simple everyday actions, like throwing bails, sweeping floors, or fastening rivets, can lead to this condition.
The most common types of repetitive motion injuries are tendinitis and bursitis. They often occur at the same time and are inflammation related injuries.
Dan Kerr discuss his RMIs and strategies he used to recover and maintain a repetitive motion injury-free status in the March-April 2023 issue of Small Farm Canada magazine.
