I use clamps quite often in the greenhouse and in my floral design side hustle. Really any job where I need to keep it together until glue, wire or zip ties are in force, is a job for clamps.
There are many clamp configurations available. In floral design applications these metal clamps (pictured) with plastic tip covers work well.
In our May/June 2022 issue of Small Farm Canada magazine, our ‘Practical’ columnist, Dan Kerr used plastic clamps to keep the poly film attached to a hoop house metal frame made of rebar.
Another clamp configuration are pole clamps. They are often used in woodworking applications.
Clamps also come in various sizes to fit the job.
I purchased the clamps pictured at Princess Auto, but most hardware and farm supply retailers also carry them.
