A dial indicator is a tool that machinists use on their lathe or mill but it is not limited to just that. This one is unusual and the jobs it can do go on and on.
For example, if you want to check the play on your PTO bearing, the wobble of a wheel, if your axle is bent or even check your radial arm saw for arm to deck alignment, then this is the tool to get it done.
You attach it with the magnetic base, adjust the needle to touch the surface, set the dial to zero and turn the part in question to read the deviation. Sweet.
