Tools to Reduce your risk of getting a tick born infection.

  • Wear long pants and long sleeves when walking in natural areas
  • Wear light coloured clothing to make it easier to see ticks
  • Wear enclosed shoes and tuck pants into socks
  • Walk on well-travelled paths, avoiding long grass and vegetation
  • Do a tick check upon return, including children, dogs and cats
