Farmers and acreage owners looking for a sub-compact tractor capable of handling multiple jobs around the property may want to consider the New Holland Workmaster 25S.
“You can get this tractor in a couple different options of course with any of the three attachments – the loader, the backhoe or the belly mower,” said Robert Reeves, territory sales manager with New Holland.
The 100LC loader has a lift capacity of 1,005lbs. (456kg).
The 905GBL backhoe has a digging depth of 79.4 inches (2,017mm).
And the 160GMS mower had three cutting blades and a 60-inch (1,524mm) cutting width.
The Workmaster 25S is equipped with a two-range hydrostatic transmission capable of reaching a top speed of 9.1mph (14.7 km/h).
Six models are available in the Workmaster 25S lineup, each equipped with different attachments.
Customers can also opt for an open-air or cab model.
The tractor has a “very nice platform, a flat deck (and) no hump in the middle,” Reeves said. “It’s a updated platform with the rubber floor mat (and) elevated seat that moves forwards or backwards.”
And controls in the operator’s station are color coded.
“Orange is related to anything drivetrain, (and) yellow is related to anything to your PTO,” Reeves said. “It’s very operator friendly and very good to teach new operators how to run this equipment.
