Farmers and landowners looking for tractors with around 130 HP may want to consider the Vestrum Series from Case IH.
The two tractors in this series have 100 and 130 HP, respectively.
One feature of the Vestrum 130 is its shorter wheel base compared to other tractors Case IH offers.
“The wheel base on the Vestrum will be 98 inches,” said Alexis David-Dandurand, a livestock product specialist with Case IH. “It allows us to have a short turning radius of 14.4 feet.”
Vestrum tractors are equipped with Maxxum tractor cabs. And the control layout is the same MultiControl Armrest an operator would find in Steiger or Puma tractors.
The tractors come standard with two mechanical remotes and one electrical remote. Operators can opt for two electronic remotes as well.
The Vestrum tractors available with two different transmission options.
The ActiveDrive 8 or the CVXDrive.
The ActiveDrive 8 is the “full power shift 24-speed transmission,” David-Dandurand said. “Or it’s available with our CVX transmission, which is a CVT transmission.”
Features of the ActiveDrive 8 include memory shuttle, which remember the last gear an operator shifted to in each direction and automatically returns to that gear when shuttling in forward or reverse.
The Vestrum tractors have a lift capacity of 6,700 lbs. (3,039 kg.) and can be equipped with loaders, forks, grapples, bale spikes and other attachments.
