Which tractor manufacturer added three new models to its compact tractor lineup for 2022?
Kubota’s new L02 Series tractors include the L3302HSTRC, L3902DTRC and the L3902HSTRC.
The 3302HSTRC has 33 HP and the latter two models have 37.5 HP each.
The HST models provide forward/reverse speed control via the pedal while the DT configurations enable eight forward and eight reverse speeds.
The 3302HSTRC retails for $30,780, the 3902DTRC for $31,981 and the 3902HSTRC for $33,527, Kubota’s Canadian website says.
“It’s affordability with performance,” said Beau Woodbury, product manager with Kubota.
Customers will notice upgrades to the operator station.
The seat has a new suspension for added comfort and operators have the option to add arm rests.
Kubota also removed the clutch from the HSTRC models.
Doing this allows for another added feature.
“That’s really great because it means an electronic PTO switch,” Woodbury said. “And because we removed the clutch we moved the brakes from the right-hand side to the left-hand side, allowing you to use those turning brakes in a more efficient manner.”
Kubota also made upgrades to the bucket.
It has a new design to allow for better load transport.
“It’s going to be a grounded shape with a deeper back edge,” he said. “If you’re transporting any materials, it’ll allow for more stable loads. There are also pre-drilled holes for a bolt-on cutting edge.”
In addition, Kubota made maintenance upgrades on the L02 Series.
The manufacturer is making it easier for customers to identify certain parts, Woodbury said.
“There’s going to be colour-coded oil and dipstick and fuel cap locations,” he said. “It’s a whole lot easier to spot those colours than what it was before.”
