Kubota is offering two new balers to its customers.
There are two models of BV5200 round baler available.
Both the BV5200SC14 and the BV5200SC25 have bale diameters of 4-feet (1.20m) wide and up to 6.5-feet (2.00m) tall.
The difference comes in the horsepower required for each baler.
The BV5200SC14 requires 80 horsepower while the BV5200SC25 needs 100 horsepower.
These balers are equipped with Intelligent Density, said Ben Sandercock, field product specialist for Kubota Canada.
This means the balers are “fully ISOBUS compatible, and that we can change our density and our size in three different settings right from the seat of the tractor,” he said.
Some of the other baler features include:
- PowerFeed, Supercut 14 or 25 knives for high intake capacity and accurate cutting,
- PowerBind with direct net injection for fast and highly reliable netting, and
- Parallelogram DropFloor for easy and fast unblocking of crop blockages.
These features make the BV5200 balers suitable for different applications, Sandercock said.
“We’re able to bale a variety of applications for feed and bedding, and also exports,” he said.
The BV5200 balers compliment Kubota’s existing round baler options, which include the BV4500 series and three models of BV5160 baler.
