Case IH has added three models to its Farmall tractor family.
“The 95A, 105A and 115A come in a standard utility configuration, or we also offer a poultry or a low-profile configuration on those tractors,” said Greg Lucey, brand marketing manager with Case IH.
“We put smaller tires on the tractors, and when we do that with a ROPS configuration, we can get under 70 inches (177cm) of clearance to get into older poultry barns.”
The poultry versions also include an engine-reversing fan to blow feathers and debris off the grill.
The 95A boasts 97 horsepower and a 78 horsepower PTO. The 105A comes with 112 horsepower and a 92 horsepower PTO. And the 115A is equipped with 120 horsepower and a 100 horsepower PTO.
In addition, the tractors don’t require engine regeneration.
This feature provides multiple benefits, Lucey said.
“It saves our customers time and money, and increases productivity,” he said.
“A lot of competitor tractors have diesel particulate filters that need to be cleaned out. Our engine supplier invested in technology to allow for us to meet Tier 4 final emissions without the use of a diesel particulate filter. Because we don’t have one, we don’t need to stop the tractor.”
The tractors are also built heavy.
The 115A, for example, weighs in at 7,304 pounds (3,313 kg).
“Our weight is built into the chassis,” Lucey said.
“We have a nice robust tractor that will last a long time. A lot of time, competitor units require weights, we don’t have to do that as much.”
With the addition of the 95A, 105A and 115A, Case IH now has 12 models in its Farmall lineup. Each of these are perfect for a small farm.
