Whether you’re a grass nerd, new to ranching, or simply curious about grazing systems, this tour is for you.
Springer Farm operates a 200-head cow-calf and yearling heifer operation alongside a thriving leafcutter bee enterprise, with bees released into alfalfa fields in July. The farm also produces alfalfa seed and intercrops while making vermicast and compost extracts to support the crops as they grow. An expanding worm farm and diverse cover crops are used to build healthy soils and reduce reliance on synthetic fertilizers.
