KIOTI introduced a new line of tractors that emphasizes operator comfort while still providing increased productivity, redefined power and performance.
The new RX40 Series is a refresh of the company’s RX20 Series.
This includes new styling and a new hood design to allow for improved forward sightlines and maintenance access.
It also has LED headlights and a new cab configuration with climate control and increased visibility.
“We went from a six-pillar cab to now a five-pillar cab, so we’ve widened the cab out a little bit (and) made it a little bit taller,” said Joel Hicks, product line manager with KIOTI. “We’ve got the ability now to add an optional instructor’s seat.”
All of the controls the operator needs are laid out with ease of use in mind, he added.
There are five models in the RX40 series.
They range in horsepower from 66.40 to 73.10 and are available in cab or ROPS configurations.
The units are available in two transmission options: power shuttle with travel speeds up to 24mph or power shuttle with creeper.
The creeper feature allows the tractor to at slower speeds during operation.
Another new feature of the RX40 series is the electronic three-point hitch and its lift capacity of up to 4,327 pounds.
This gives operators excellent control over their implements.
“You’ve got two push buttons for raise and lower, you also have a convenient push control for your position control if you need to be precise,” Hicks said.
Optional soft ride functions and third function switches will also be available for customers.
