Farmers or large acreage owners looking for a vehicle to help them get around the property and be able to handle rugged terrain may want to consider Kubota’s new RTV-X.
Kubota offers three models of the RTV-X: Basic (starting at $22,900), Standard (starting at $24,983), and Premium (starting at $26,154).
The Basic and Standard models come with steel or ATV wheels, where buyers of the Premium model can choose alloy wheels.
And new HDMP (heavy duty multi-purpose) tires help “with additional tread going through muddy conditions and to give more grip,” said Kiara Daniel, product manager for RTV accessories with Kubota.
Each RTV-X model is an open station and comes with Kubota’s Extra Duty IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) technology on all four wheels.
This supports durability while ensuring a smooth ride around the farm or property.
LED lights help operators get the job done in any conditions.
Though high beams are only available on Standard and Premium trims.
A feature only available on the Premium model is the ProKonvert 3-way open cargo box.
Without tools, operators can customize their cargo bed by folding down either side or the rear. Or an operator can remove all sides and turn their unit into a flatbed transportation system.
“It’s very simple, very easy and very convenient,” Daniel said.
A variety of attachments are available to help RTV-X users tackle any job.
Winches, bed lifts, hitches, and tailgate extenders are some of the options owners can add to their units.
