Kubota has introduced a new line of tractors for farming or acreage management.
The M6-1 Series has four cab models:
- The M6-101-1 with 104.5 engine horsepower and 82 PTO HP.
- The M6-111-1 with its 114.1 engine HP and 92 PTO HP.
- The M6-131-1 has 131.6 engine HP and 104 PTO HP, and
- The M6-141-1 is equipped with 141.4 engine horsepower and 114 PTO HP.
Inside the cab, operators will notice a new mechanical front loader joystick.
This joystick has shuttle shift and range gear buttons, eliminating the need to go from the joystick to the steering wheel and shift lever.
Another feature operators can find in this tractor lineup is Xpress Restart.
This provides direct control of the main clutch.
“It allows the operator to press both brakes to come to neutral and allow functions such as wrapping and unloading a bale from a baler,” said Kevin Cobb, senior field operations manager with Kubota. “Release the brakes and the tractor will take off again either in the gear it was previously in, or to use the auto shift function, allow it to start at a lower gear and shift back up.”
Kubota has also equipped the tractors with a Shuttle Shift Modulation Dial.
This provides greater control when switching between forward and reverse and supports smooth engagement when using Xpress Restart, Cobb said.
Another feature of the M6-1 lineup is the Stationary PTO Switch on the right side of the steering wheel.
This lets operators use the PTO system with the tractor in a stationary position.
The parking brake must be engaged, and the shift lever and shuttle must all be in neutral to use the stationary application.
