Anyone looking for a piece of equipment that combines a skid steer loader and a compact tractor may want to consider the JCB 3TS-8T – the manufacturer’s largest teleskid.
“This machine features a 74 hp JCB EcoMAX diesel, so there’s no DEF on the machine,” said Brandon Hawkins, North American ag sales manager for JCB North America.
The engine doesn’t require any DPF or other aftertreatment.
The unit combines the versatility of a skid steer loader with the telescopic JCB Powerboom to deliver superior productivity and efficiency.
With the telescoping features, users have 13 feet, 3 inches of reach, plus a forward reach of 8 feet. And the loader’s lift capacity with the bucket is 3,695 pounds (1,676 kg.)
In addition, for the first time in a skid steer or compact tractor, the unit can dig 3 feet below ground.
Inside the cab, JCB made updates like a cab that’s 33 per cent larger than the industry average.
And other modifications to support operator efficiency.
These changes include a new 7-inch touchscreen display in the top right-hand side of the cab.
The touchscreen supports quicker setting changes, setting job timers and MyChoice controls, reversing fan intervals, or viewing the built-in backup camera.
