Ontario farmers who didn’t make it down to the 2025 National Farm Machinery Show in Kentucky to see the new Case IH Farmall Medium Utility C Series won’t have to wait long, as the upgraded tractor will also be showcased at several farm shows across Canada, including in March at the London Farm Show.
The recent updates to the Farmall C line include increased hydraulic performance, greater lift capacity, and improved operator controls, making the series more versatile for mixed farming operations.
New Engine Performance and Efficiency:
The 4-cylinder, 3.6-litre FPT engine delivers a constant maximum horsepower with 506 Nm of torque at just 1,500 rpm. The Common Rail Direct Injection system provides more precise fuel metering, improving fuel economy, throttle response, and reducing engine noise and vibration.
The engine also meets Stage V emissions standards using the ECOBlue™ Compact HI-eSCR 2 system, which is integrated under the hood to maintain visibility and ground clearance.
Upgraded Transmission and Hydraulics:
Farmers can choose between two transmission options based on their operational needs:
12-speed PowerShuttle transmission (available for 100C, 110C, and 120C), which allows smoother shifting and precise control, with an optional creeper-ready kit for specialized applications.
24-speed Hi-Lo transmission (available for 90C, 100C, 110C, and 120C), which includes:
A new cab suspension system to reduce operator fatigue.
Auto PTO engagement to improve headland management.
An advanced loader joystick for simultaneous lifting and shuttle control.
To accommodate heavier implements, rear lift capacity has increased by 23% over previous models. A 21.7 GPM hydraulic pump delivers more flow for high-demand applications. Farmers can also configure up to three rear remotes and eight couplers with one diverter for greater operational flexibility.
Operator-Focused Features:
The updated ActiveClutch II™ system allows operators to brake without using the clutch pedal, making loader work and frequent stops more efficient. Visibility has also been improved, and the new L635 loader option increases versatility for handling bales, feed, and materials.
“The new Farmall C not only offers heavy-duty performance and maneuverability, it delivers an improved operator experience,” said Leo Bose, customer segmentation lead at Case IH.
The London Farm Show will run March 5 to 7 at Western Fair District in London, Ont. The Case IH booth number is 727N.
